A mojority of the customs in the Elizabethan Era where festivals, clothing (See 'Clothing'), and arranged marriages. In this time period, the Elizabethan festivals were very religious and scheduled for, about, each month. This was considered like a fun, loose, 'party' like atmosphere for the people, and they were always axiously awaiting it.
Arranged marriages were also popular in this time. Back then, women were normally arranged with someone their house-hold approves of, or with money and power. When this wasn't available, the girls would be paired with the second best. Girls actually had the consent to marry at the age of twelve, though many did not. Men usually waited to get married until they were around twenty-one, so not many girls were not that young.
